Yesterday, Gunner Kiel was listed as one of the top 10 quarterback transfers to watch this football season on this site. This isn’t the first time Gunner has appeared on anyone’s top ten list. In 2012, he was rated by many as the top quarterback prospect. Notably, two of the top 10 transfers, Gunner and Andrew Hendrix (both from Notre Dame) will face off against each other when Cincinnati plays Miami (OH) on September 20, 2014. It’s worth noting that Miami (again, OH) went 0 for 12 last season, so Hendrix will have his hands, and probably rib cage, full.
But, can Gunner take the Bearcats back to the BCS? Will he restore the shine to this burgeoning program? Fingers crossed…
