The game on Saturday is a big game. Ohio Stadium will be filled to the brim with screaming Buckeyes fans. However, it is only a game. After yesterday’s tragic news, Saturday’s game takes on a new shape.

Just yesterday, the Bearcats lost one of their players to a motor vehicle accident. Running back Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore was riding his motorcycle home when a motorist failed to yield the right of way and struck Palmore’s motorcycle. Coach Tuberville said that 25 of his relatives were in the emergency room when he passed.

He was 19 years old.

Palmore went to a nearby high school, Lakota East, that feeds the Bearcats program with numerous players. He most certainly was an important part of this community and the program.  My thoughts and prayers go to the family members that lost a son, a brother, a cousin, a grandson. In addition, my thoughts and prayers go to the coaches and players that lost a friend and teammate.
