Legaux Heads Back to the Bayou State

Cue Puff Daddy…

Munchie Legaux came to the Cats as a three-star prospect out of Edna Karr High School located in New Orleans, Louisiana. This week he gets to head back home to face Tulane. Coincidentally, Munchie’s uncle also played for the Green Wave, making the game a bit of a Legaux family homecoming.

Legaux scored his first rushing TD last week after recovering from his horrendous knee injury last year against Illinois. I fully expect him to continue his progress this week behind the improving rushing game led by Mike Boone. Munchie is certainly one of the biggest feel-good stories of the year.

My hope is Tuberville and staff decide to start Munchie and rest Gunner Kiel in street clothes with an ice pack strapped to his ribs for all four quarters so he does not even have a chance of coming in and playing. A healthy Golden Arm of Kiel will be essential for playing against East Carolina in two weeks after having a week off on Thursday, November 13th.
