UC Boasts Four First-Team All-AAC Players

For the 2014 UC football season, along with an AAC conference title, the AAC has named four Bearcats to the all-conference first-team list.

Offensive Guard Parker Ehinger

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAJunior #78 Parker Ehinger and senior #71 Eric Lefeld combine for 625 lbs. and anchored the Bearcat offensive line this year. The UC offense ranked in the top five in the AAC in scoring offense, passing offense, rushing offense, and total offense, and surrendered only 16 sacks, second in the conference. Without these two mountains, Gunner Kiel and Co. would simply not have had the success they had this year.

Offensive Tackle Eric Lefeld

Senior #71 Eric Lefeld has earned first-team honors for the third time in his career. He is the only player among this year’s award winners to do so.

Defensive End Terrell Hartsfield

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASenior #95 Terrell Hartsfield led the AAC with 8 sacks. He racked up 34 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3 fumble recoveries, and 2 pass break ups. One of the fumble recoveries resulted in a 27-yard return for a key TD against East Carolina.

Linebacker Jeff Luc

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe former five-star recruit, #1 high school linebacker, and Florida State transfer, senior #1 Jeff Luc, led the Cats with 121 tackles on the season, including 9.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 4 pass break ups and 4 QB hurries. He is ranked 3rd in the AAC in tackles. His 6 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries are tied for 1st in the country. At 6-foot-1 and 256 lbs., he is a monster and future NFL talent.
