UC senior track and field athlete Frida Akerstrom was named the American Female Field Athlete of the Week.
Akerstrom racked up an AAC record in the weight throw of 59’ 11.25”, which is 2nd in UC history.
The Bearcats travel to Lexington, Kentucky this weekend for the Kentucky Invitational.
