The 20 fantastic football players were responsible for 3 conference championships over the course of the last four years (2011 and 2012 Big East and 2014 AAC). The change of coaches between Butch Jones and Tubs didn’t stop this class from having success on the field, making 4 bowl appearances, winning the 2011 Liberty Bowl, 2012 Belk Bowl, and going 38-14 (74%) overall.
The Bearcats have certainly had luck in the NFL in recent years. Just this week 3 former Cats played in the Pro Bowl, and senior linebacker Jeff Luc played in the Senior Bowl.
