UC Football Players Earn Extra Year to Ball by NCAA

Bearcat senior defensive back Adrian Witty has been granted a 6th year of eligibility. Witty is taking advantage of this opportunity.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and now is working on a master’s degree in health education. This is great news for the experienced defensive back, having played in 41 career games.

Furtherfreshman defensive tackle Cortez Broughtonsenior linebacker Clemente Casseusjunior running back Tion Green, freshman linebacker Kevin Mouhon, and senior running back Hosey Williams have all received medical hardships for the 2014 season from the AAC and will maintain their 2014 eligibility entering the 2015 season.

It’s safe to say the half back position will be stacked in 2015 with FOUR potential starters in Tion Green, Hosey Williams, Rob Moore, and Mike Boone, along with Bobby Brown, and freshman additions (sure to be redshirts) Taylor Boose and Joshuwa Holloman.  Finally, Tuberville’s recruiting is developing depth and the ability to preserve recruit eligibility for beyond 4 years.

The Bearcats began spring practice on February 27th, and will have 15 sessions ending on April 4th with the spring game inside the Sheakley Athletics Center.
