It’s Raining 4-Star WR Recruits in Clifton!

News broke this week the University of Cincinnati landed two former 4-star wide out transfers.  Both receivers will be forced to sit out this year under the NCAA transfer rules.  However, this will work out perfectly.  Gunner Kiel will in all likelihood still be the starting QB, and UC will lose the likes of Shaq Washington, Mekale McKay, Chris Moore, Johnny Holton, Max Morrison, and Alex Chisum after this season.  This will allow these two solid athletes to step right in and get starting role playing time.  Hats off to Tuberville and his staff for lassoing these guys.

  • Avery Peterson: Former LSU wide receiver and younger brother of current Arizona Cardinals cornerback and return specialist Patrick Peterson is now a Bearcat. The 6’2” 200 lb. stud receiver will have three years of eligibility left at UC. He didn’t really see the field as a Tiger, but he has the talent and the bloodline to flourish in red and black. Here are some of his high school highlights.
  •  Jamil Kamara: Former Virginia Cavalier and U.S. Army All-American receiver is also now a Bearcat. Like Peterson, Kamara never really had a chance to play at Virginia, and will also have three years left in Clifton. Check out this ridiculous circus catch in practice.
