The Bearcats are 4-6 and fighting for their bowl-eligible lives. Coach Tuberville held his regular press conference today. Coach Tuberville began by expressing his concern for Isaiah Pead, the former UC running back injured in a car accident on Saturday night. Tuberville said he really like Isaiah and worked out with him. The team’s trainer is headed up to visit Pead in Columbus.
Coach Tuberville spoke of the team’s struggles on offense, acknowledging that he’s rarely seen one of his offenses struggle this much. Friday night will be a test as UC plays a hungry 6-4 Memphis team. The team has not scored a touchdown in a long, long time – which made Tuberville remember Hayden Moore’s record-setting performance in last year’s game against Memphis.
I have no predictions about the outcome, other than I really hope the Bearcats can get a win for the seniors Friday night.
